Manifesto

What we believe and how we build.

Second-hand is the new normal. We're here to make it work the way it should have from the beginning.

We believe

Trust is everything

Marketplaces fail when strangers can't trust each other. We build trust through proximity—you're buying from your neighbor, not someone across the city who might scam you.

Speed removes friction

Every unnecessary step is a reason to give up. Photo → AI listing → post → sold. If it takes more than 10 seconds to list something, we failed.

Sustainability needs joy

Circular economy messaging is boring. "Save the planet" doesn't sell sneakers. But "get cash for stuff you don't use and help your neighbor find something they love"? That works.

Community creates value

You're not just buying a blender. You're supporting your neighbor's decluttering, reducing waste, keeping money local, and strengthening social bonds. That's worth celebrating.

Technology should be invisible

AI writes your listing. Search understands intent, not just keywords. Payments happen instantly. You shouldn't think about the tech—you should just enjoy the experience.

How we build

Listen before shipping

WhatsApp groups taught us what people actually need. We watch how communities already behave, then build tools that make those behaviors easier.

Make it feel human

Notifications that sound like a friend texting. Interfaces that reduce anxiety. Support that actually helps. No corporate speak, no dark patterns, no tricks.

Start with safety

Verified condominium groups. Real identities. Neighbor accountability. Trust first, scale second.

Default to simple

More features = more confusion. We ship what solves real problems. Everything else is noise.

Celebrate sellers

Sellers create the marketplace. Without them, there's nothing to buy. We make listing effortless, payments instant, and keep 100% of their asking price (buyers pay the 10% fee).

Our commitment

  • Build for Brazil's reality (PIX, WhatsApp behavior, condominium culture)
  • Never sacrifice safety for growth
  • Keep the interface joyful, not just functional
  • Measure impact: transactions, carbon saved, community strength
  • Stay accountable to the communities we serve

What we're not

  • Another OLX (unsafe, no community)
  • Another Enjoei (slow, bureaucratic)
  • Another social media trap (we're commerce, not content)
  • A side project (we're building for the long term)

Second-hand deserves better. We're building it.

Ain't that cüte?
